And the all lived happily ever after... right?

A few words about women's erotica blog post by Angela Knight... scoll down and see Morgan Hawke's comments. Thoughts? Anyone?

    1. EVERYBODY'S talking about that post, aren't they? ;-)

Maybe it's all going to come down to the difference between Erotic Romance and Erotica. And there IS a difference. Erotic romance implies exactly what it says--romance. And with romance readers expect an HEA.
Erotica is simply an erotic story. And a lot of the big pubs are latching onto that, without having done much research into whether there IS a difference, or which the readers are preferring.
Maybe it's just their haste to jump onto the bandwagon...

    6. Wouldn't you love to be a birdie, Syb? And it is nice to hear that authors want HEAs too. During the discussion at dearauthor.com I felt like there were only a few of us readers who wanted HEAs and we were backwards for wanting it.
