    I still don't get it
I looks like Wicked Pleasure by Nina Bangs now has a Feb 2007 release date. And there are two new covers that I can find on the net but all seem to have the same cover quotes as the one that was pulled in July.

    Amazon has this one
Books a Million has this one

Personally I don't care for any of them but none seem worth the cost of pulling a book... anyone hear anything else about this?

    2. The new one is the mass market release for February, the one pulled was the trade release.

    3. hmmmm

Well the first book was trade but even if they wanted a MM release vs trade would it make sense to leave the trade out there vs pulling it?

LOL kristie, it remains me of My Wicked Pirate's cover.

Not that it really matters, I have the book so all is well with the world *eg*

    4. I'm not loving either of these, but they're both better than the original trade cover. That one was hideous. Like you, I figured the original trade got pulled because of the quote but someone (can't remember who) said the problem was the cover art not the quote. Since the quote is on this version as well, I'm guessing the cover really was the issue. Maybe the publisher didn't have the right to the original art...?

    5. Well, the first cover that was pulled looks a lot like Kevin Federline-- yuck. Maybe he objected?

    6. I agree about the original cover. Actually, it was a cover that I sent to my editor of what I really, really hoped my cover would not be like.

Same as HelenKay, the only thing I've heard is that there was some problem with the rights to the artwork.
