    2 questions
Is there a way to track the comments you leave in other blogs. Like a setting or something in your profile?

Is there a way to expand how many subjects/posts display in the list in your sidebar? Or would I need to completely change my template?

    anyone... anyone...

    1. Sybil,

As far as I know, there's no way to track your comments, though that would be a cool feature.

As for expanding the subjects in the sidebar, do you mean adding different subheadings and so on like "currently reading" and so on? If so, what you need to do when you are logged in Blogger is click on "Template" and scroll down through your current template.

Look for the current sidebar headings. On my old blog (before my customized one), the headings were something along the lines of this:

< H2 >Archives< /H2 > (without the spaces; the comment wouldn't go through without adding the spaces)

Whatever your template says, copy the text and paste it where you want your new heading to be in the sidebar. Then, replace "Archives" with whatever heading you want.

Click "View Changes" before you save them; that way, if you don't like what you've done, you can go back to your previous settings.

      Hope this helps.

    2. If it's a WordPress blog or something similiar, you may subscribe to that blog, so when someone makes a response, you get a copy in email. Blogger.com doesn't offer this service.

In addition to Alyssa's response, if you are referring to 'categories', like you see at other blogs, this is available only in WordPress or similar software. Blogger.com doesn't offer this service, either.
