I have them on my Kinja weblog thingy, so I knew pretty much straight away. Maili mentioned that she used to behave abominably online? Lori Foster? Really? I can't imagine it. My interactions with her have been really good in the past. Hard to imagine her being rude to anybody....

This was the first time I'd been to "Quills".
Karen, mention Mrs. Giggles to Ms. Foster, she's not a real fan of our favorite snarky reviewer.

LOL karen I have only been reading romance for about two years so I can't remember seeing it.
But it was one of the first things I recall 'hearing' about. In fact I was a bit before I read her. And some still give me crap for liking her ;).
But I do really enjoy lots of her stuff and have really liked her last two bad boy stories. LOVE Say No to Joe?
I always forget about Quills. Since Lowell is really the only author there I have read and will it is her old stuff I am in lurve with. I really need to set up a kinja thing. Or steal someone elses ;)

Karen, in that case you're one of lucky people. Ignorance is indeed bliss. :D
LF, in fairness, had never been - as far as I know - *directly* rude to anyone, but if you think LLG and the like behaved badly, you haven't met LF. ;D For a while she was the Queen of Authors Behaving Badly, but thankfully, not so these days.
I don't think it's fair to cite examples or hold her past online behaviour against her today as I think she's changed a lot and for better, too. I think now that she's secured on bestselling lists, she's calmed down and less insecure, which is a very good thing. I like her, actually, but I wasn't keen on LF's old online persona at all. It seems that LF has learnt her online mistakes and behaved accordingly since, which gradually won my respect.
Hope this helps.

mention Mrs. Giggles to Ms. Foster, she's not a real fan of our favorite snarky reviewer.
Or anyone who dared to criticise her books, her numerous friends' books, her fans, and her books. Oh, and her books, too. She was also against 'nasty' reviewers like those at AAR, Mrs Giggles, The Romance Reader, and the like. Her view of people who slated her books? They will burn in Hell because it's not about honesty, but about GOOD MANNERS. Her favourite motto: My mother always says don't say anything if you don't have anything nice to say.
Actually, if KarenS's blog existed back then, she'd make it to LF's blacklist and for her reward, get attacked by LF's "girls".
Oh, wait. Did I say something about not citing examples? *headdesk* That makes LF a better person than me, then. My bad. But thanks God that she's stopped now and that she's no longer bothered by 'bad' reviews. Yay!
