Pleasure Games
A lot of people ask me where I came up with the idea for my Pleasure Games trilogy. Let me just say my idea came from many different places. The seed of an idea began a few years back when all the talk was about Viagra, it was in the new, in the papers and I swear every joke that came to me through email was about Viagra. I started to think, man, with all these horny men walking around, what's a girl to do. snicker...I mean sex is great, but women have work to do, dishes to do, kids to run to soccer, etc. So I started thinking about the anti-Viagra. At the time I watched the movie Senseless, with Marlon Wayans, (watch this, it's hilarious) and Marlon needed funding to finish university, so he signed on as a lab rat. I also really like the movie, Hollow man, again this story involved scientists creating a serum to make you invisible. So I put the ideas together and came up with my trilogy. In my first story, I paired two scientists together. He's a playboy, she's a nerdy brainiac. With time running out to get their grant money, they must used themselves as guinea pigs to test a libido suppressant. He injects himself with the formula, her job requires soft music and lingerie. She needs to entice him to see if the serum works. What fun I had with this story!! I do hope you all love it as much as I do! I have this fabulous website up with blurbs to each book. You can find it here. I also have a sexy trailer made up for Pleasure Control. You can view it here. [note: beta blogger is being goofy if you have issues posting use the option 'other' and type in your name... if you use anon, make sure you type your name in the post] |
I must go see the trailer! I put a note to do this on my computer (doesn't always work on my laptop)
Too this book was long in the making it seems or more so, because it was from a big NY Publisher, how much time between the time you finished Pleasure Control until it comes out?
And how about the second and third? whats the period of time between the books?
Thanks
Cathie
