How to get beta blogger to import into wordpress? We got the posts to go over but the comments won't. Any ideas? heeeeeee I said we....

beta blogger suckage or things to try if you can't comment

1. Make sure you are logged in before you type your comment. 2. If you are not logged in and hit login and publish to post your comment. A screen might appear that says you must log into your beta blogger account. Don't! If you right click - and left click on the word BACK (should be the first selection) it will take you back to your last page. You can then copy your comment you just typed. Then log into beta blogger. This SHOULD let you paste your comment and keep you from having to retype you it. 3. If you still can't comment - I am sorry beta blogger sucks. You should be able to follow these instructions and comment using the anon or 'other' feature. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU TYPE IN YOUR NAME OR SCREEN NAME. Otherwise I will have no way of crowning you the winner of any contests. And there are tons of contests and fun things coming. And before you ask... yes... a new blog is currently in the works and will hopefully be up and running soon(ish).

Hackosphere tis a blog with help on fixing up your beta blogger template... and this is a great post showing why this will be nifty, you know once it works... if it makes any sense to you Now me, not so much. HELP!!!!!!! I want to do this. Jane wouldn't it be fun to learn some new blogger stuff? :)

I think people can finally post to beta blogger with their regular blogger account. try it and let me know Either way my beta blogger account will now post to an account that hasn't been fucked up upgraded to a beta blogger account without using the 'other' function.

beta blogger sucks and a note

So I have emailed beta blogger again. Something I hate to do cuz I am sure they have like fifty million emails from people hating them right now. Of course there has been no response. So the side bar will still only show the last ten posts and will not move. The bastard. So if you want to view an old post you need to do one of two things. You can search in the nifty lil google box (yes I know they own blogger) or pick the month of the archive. So if you are looking for JR Ward's posts, you would click on September and scroll. Sorry, I will have the recaps up for the last nine guest days soon, work is kicking my ass. le sigh... as I was going in at 3 and just found out I need to be there at noon! Other note for all you non beta blogger people... if you go to comment and hit post and get an error message, you SHOULD be able to right click on that error message, left click on BACK and get back to your comment without having to retype it. From there click OTHER - type in a name and website or blog - then hit post. And it should work. At least that is what I do when I forget and try and post on you nonbeta people's blog. sorry, I hope they will have this fixed soon... off to work with me. [note: beta blogger is being goofy if you have issues posting use the option 'other' and type in your name... if you use anon, make sure you type your name in the post]

Commenting

Blogger in beta, beta blogger, whatever they are calling it... will not allow comments from accounts that haven't switched on accounts that have. And I can not comment on blogs that haven't switched (like tara). The work around is to pick anon or OTHER. Other is best because you can type in a name (and blog or website) and it posts just like you had used your account. I am so sorry for this. Everyone will HAVE to switch (soon I think) and I think they are working on this. I have added a note on the right side where my profile should be. Since I have had no less than seven emails, this is a common issue. Of course this happens right before a week of guest author days. Hope you take the extra seconds to comment!
