    Which Cover?
I ran into a usb today to check and see if they had The Rainbow Promise by Lisa Gregory. They didn't. Since I don't make it to this usb often I ended up browsing around... yeah you are all shocked I know.

The store is grand and she has old books. You should see how far back she goes on her Harlequin lines. It makes me squeee! They had a copy of Windflower by Laura London. As you may or may not recall I own this book already (found it at a library sale for a quarter) but I knew someone else was looking for it (taramarie maybe?).

So for $1.50 I couldn't pass up buying a Hard to Find book. Now my problem is which one do I keep? Neither have the original cover, which honestly I am not fond of...

So do I want the first reissue
    <-------------

Or do I want the second reissue
    -------------->

Personally I like the one on the right but there is just something about an old romance novel with the old style cover.

If it wasn't for the fact I will have to pack up all these books soon (well and the money thing) I would have bought some old Dorothy Garlock books the other day just because they were in such great shape and had the cheesy old covers.

I so can't make up my mind. Because really, the cover on the left is bad.

    Speaking of HTF books
    This week I have found:

    China Rose by Marsha Canham

A Promise of Spring by Mary Balogh

Give Me Tonight by Lisa Kleypas

    all for a $1

pretty cool if you don't think about the fact I don't need any of them... and that kleypas is the ONE old Kleypas I have (due to a shockingly kind online romance fan who sent it to me)

But hey they were a DOLLAR! So I had to get them. Wasn't as impressed with A Promise of Spring as I thought I would be. The hero is very unbaoghlike and mucho beta, almost too much, hell it was too much. I was waiting for him to pull the heroine by her hair and say what the fuck chick? Maybe if he had beaten her or something it would have knocked some sense. LOL maybe that is just me...

Hard to resist the hard to find
    Secrets of the Heart

Signet Super Regency, 1988, ISBN 0-451-15289-1

The marriage of Sarah Fifield and the Duke of Cranwell was a love match--until on their wedding night Sarah was forced to reveal the secret of her past. Amid great public scandal their marriage ended almost before it began. But now, several years later, they meet again in Bath.

Just thought to throw in a regency in the middle of all the erotic romance ;). I picked this up in a used book store the other day. Never heard of it... don't really even know if I will read it but I figured for a dollar it was a must buy *g*. If nothing else Ro or Megan might need it.

I also picked up two old Karen Ranney titles... Heaven Forbid and Above All Others both out of print and hard to find.

And because xina told me too I bought After All by Jill Marie Landis. Not bad for four dollars!
